Jim Leyland is the legendary manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates Florida Marlins Colorado Rockies and most recently the Detroit Tigers. Over the course of his 20 seasons managing in the big leagues Leyland has made two trips to the World Series. He won the title in 1997 as manager of the Marlins and led the Tigers to the Series in 2006 only to fall to the St. Louis Cardinals.
