Jim Brown is best known for his unbelievable and record-setting nine-year career as a running back for the Cleveland Browns from 1957 to 1965. Before he played for the Browns Brown attended Syracuse University where he excelled at not only football but also lacrosse and basketball. As a sophomore Brown was the second leading rusher on the team. That winter he was Syracuses second leading scorer in basketball averaging 15 points.
