Throughout his career Mike Lowell has consistently been among the elite third basemen in Major League Baseball. Originally drafted by the Yankees in the 1995 draft Lowell was traded to the Florida Marlins after the 1998 season. He spent 7 seasons in Florida before joining the Red Sox in 2006.
